About Dr. McCormick

Dr. McCormick is a Board Certified Chiropractor in the State of Massachusetts where, since 1982, he has been a practicing chiropractic physician in the Pioneer Valley. In addition to a general practice treating patients with musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, he also works with many recreational and competitive athletes. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician with membership in the ACA Sports Council.

Dr. McCormick also consults with many patients regarding their skeletal health using a Functional Medicine approach. His professional memberships include the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, the International Society of Clinical Densitometry, and the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. McCormick earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology at Stanford University and his doctorate at the National College of Chiropractic.

Sports have played a vital part in Keith McCormick’s life. At Stanford, he competed on the varsity cross-country and fencing teams. As a junior, he was the silver medalist in the Modern Pentathlon World Championship. Then in 1975 he won the North American Championship and the following year was a member of the United States Olympic team competing in the XXI Olympiad in Montreal. Dr. McCormick continues to compete in triathlons in all distances including Ironmans.

Current publications by Dr. McCormick include Osteoporosis: Integrating Biomarkers and Other Diagnostic Correlates into the Management of Bone Fragility published in Alternative Medicine Review, June 2007, and The Whole-Body Approach to Osteoporosis, released by New Harbinger Publications in May 2009.
